Facing a laneway in downtown Kitchener, this mural was commissioned by AOK, an arcade and craft beer bar. The mural design juxtaposes nature and technology through an abstraction of leaf shapes that makes them appear digitized, a play on how we often view the world through a digital lens, or screen. My design approach was driven by a desire to bring colour into public space while making a subtle reference to the tech culture the area is known for.
