This mural was commissioned by Dr. Jeff Richmond, a paediatric dentist, to beautify the concrete retaining wall in the parking lot of his clinic. The property is shared by other health facilities and there are many children who visit the plaza. The inspiration behind this design was twofold - to create an animated and brightly coloured piece that would be inviting for the children and adults alike, while simultaneously aiding in way-finding as the location of the building entrance is not obvious to new visitors.
